We all know football is the nations sport and kids up and down the country love to play it week in, week out.
The weather never seems to put them off.
Which means getting them any football gear for Christmas means they will be over the moon.
That is why we have found the top football presents to buy.
The list isn’t a particular order, just the top 14 items we could find.
Keeping hydrated whether thats during training or games is really important.
This is also great for them to take to school – something a bit different.
This was an easy choice and many of the coaches and kids favourite pick.
Its great for back garden practice to stop balls going over neighbours fences.
It comes in a few different sizes.
This is really if you want to take your kid to the next level.
Allowing you to analyse post match their performance and work out how they can improve.
Coaches agreed that the data is invaluable and is used at a lot of academies up and down the country.
Cleaning mud, especially during the winter months is essential. Too much mud and the studs aren’t as effective.
You wouldn’t want your child slipping at that vital time, whether its that vital clearance of through one on one of goal, slipping at the vital time can be costly – I should know being a Liverpool fan.
This is a great set for training in the back garden, whether they want to practice bending it like Beckham, dribbling round cones or just general practice this kit covers it all.
This set of 50 cones is great for both fitness training and specific drills.
If there are multiple kids in the family they can be shared to create mini games in the back garden.,
What more do I need to say, apart from it comes in different sizes depending on the size fo your garden.
Great for practicing shooting and goal keeping.
Great if they like to play football in the back garden with their friends.
Ok not the most exciting of presents, but could make a good stocking filler.
But training with a flat ball will do more harm than good.
To improve they need to train correctly – this cheap but quality ball pump will make sure all the balls are pumped up and ready for action.
This is a great present if space if limited or they want to practice on control or power shots.
With the ball never able to go that far, they are able to hit the ball with all the power and not worry about a stray ball breaking a window or going into the next doors garden.
If you listen to any kid playing football they all want to kick it into the top bins, whether thats in a game or training – its all about top bins.
If they pull it off in a game its almost certain a goal as its almost impossible for children goal keepers to save it.
This aid attaches to goal posts for the children to practice (or coaches when kids aren’t looking).
Fitness and agility is super important for the modern day footballer and practicing at a younger age will only help them as they grown.
Whether you have a concrete back garden or a full lawn, it doesn’t matter this can be used anywhere – even on a beach.
There are several different exercise you can do with a agility ladder, check out Youtube for some great tips.
This is brilliant for teaching accuracy which gets more important the kids get older.
You can set them challenges, hit 10 goals in each section. 10 goals with each foot. Plus much more.
Again another great way to boost fitness, check out the running channels on Youtube to find some great exercises, but these are great for encouraging players to jump and ride slide tackles.
If they can ride slide tackles then they can clear defenders and be away to put the ball in the back of the net.
Another great way for children to practice there aiming with a “realistic” looking keeper in the middle.
Again set them specific challenges to help them improve.
We hope you find this list useful for when trying to find that perfect football related gift for your child.
